Vendor labels are a useful construct to be able to identify manufacturers of your network devices. rConfig is installed with several vendors. You can add and remove as you need.
Adding/ Editing Vendors
Section titled “Adding/ Editing Vendors”From the main Vendor view, click New Vendor to add a new vendor, or click the edit button in the table.

The vendor form itself is very simple. You can add a vendor name. All fields are required and the vendor name must be unique.
